We enjoyed every minute here. The rooms are spacious and beautiful! The pool was nice and the hot tub was relaxing. All of the help was pleasant. The breakfasts are tasty too! Only a 1/2 mile walk to town. Many things to see and easy to walk to. Quiet at night. Really enjoyed that. My granddaughter and her friend want to come back for a week next year! I would like that too! Thanks!

Room Tip: My granddaughter and her friend were 15. We weren't looking for children's activities. Als...

We recently stayed at Gorges Grant for a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We stayed in the annex which was so clean and beautiful it looked as if it was just built the day before we got there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful ! I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was and we are already talking about returning next year. I do believe that this is easily the nicest hotel in Ogunquit.

The hotel is split into two buildings. We stayed in the newly renovated annex. (away from lobby, pools and restaurant) We were not told that there is no elevator in that building, so you need to carry all your luggage up a flight of stairs. Not a big deal if you have young knees. If you have stair issues, be sure to ask for a first floor room.
The restaurant in the hotel serves a nice breakfast, and the room was very clean and overlooked a secluded wooded area. However, it is a bit of a hike to town or beaches from this hotel. The trolly will take you for $1.50 each time you board or you can pay for parking everywhere if you can find room to park.

We stayed here for a 4 day weekend with our 2 kids (3 and 5 years old). The room was HUGE! I loved that we had 2 queen sized beds (not 2 full sized, as is customary in many hotel rooms). The pools were great; they are connected by a door, so my girls would go to the indoor pool, and then the outdoor, and back to the indoor. They loved it. The staff were very attentive to guests' needs; I asked for a stepstool so the girls could reach the sinks, and they were happy to oblige. I love that there is a vanity sink as well as a sink in the room with the toilet/shower. This permitted faster preparation to get out in the mornings. Overall, this was a great place to stay that is both family friendly and fun!

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room on second floor, facing away from Rt 1.

The Gorges Grant was all one could want in a hotel, from a nice setting to a spacious, quiet, clean room in good repair.
One negative comment--I don't know if it was the hotel or me, but I could not adjust the air conditioning to less chilling level, and finally had to turn it off in the middle of the night.

Gorges Grant is a lovely hotel on route one in Ogunquit on the trolley line to downtown and the beaches. The hotel is very clean and well-appointed, with lawn chairs and tables scattered in many locations on the property. The outdoor pool is heated, which made it possible to swim in early June. Raspberries restaurant on-site provides a very good breakfast.
Our room was on the corner of the ground floor of the King Charles building, and it was very private. Windows on two walls of the room brought in bright natural light. Multiple electrical outlets made it easy to plug in the cell phone charger and electronic equipment. There was a separate sink and vanity area outside the full bath, allowing both of us to get ready for the day at the same time. The room price was very reasonable for the king room because it was slightly off-season. We appreciated the fact that the entire hotel is non-smoking. We will definitely visit again.

Room Tip: Rooms in the King Charles building are private, but not as convenient to the pool or restaurant. How...

As always, a warm welcome upon arrival. First time we had a second floor room, as we booked last minute. Kind of a mini suite. Clean comfortable. Desk staff were always helpful, even giving me a great shortcut that saved half hour to golf course. Raspberries provided a great breakfast. Been going for years and will continue.
