“Great location, warm hosts, spotless”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Bourne is well located between Perkins Cove and "downtown" Ogunquit. You can walk everywhere.

We had a "suite" on the first floor. It consisted of a living room that opened onto the front porch, a large and newish bathroom, and a bedroom with a private porch off the back. I would imagine it is their best room, given its size and privacy.

Pros: Very clean and well located, our room was large, private and bright. Pleasant and helpful hosts. Very reasonably priced.

Cons: Some street noise (but that is unavoidable if you want this central location). Decor is basic; not particularly charming or coordinated, if that is one of the things you seek in a BnB.

Quirks: Strict policy to take your shoes off when you come in. (probably why the place is so clean and no sand!). But your host will even ask you if you are smuggling shoes in with you in your luggage, and if so, you will be asked to also put those by the door and not walk in the house with them. We thought that was kind of funny!

Very nice place. Charlie was a lot of fun and a great host. Rooms were spotless and very quiet. Close to everything. Would have enjoyed more variety for breakfast. Usually limited to one or two items cooked. I would suggest this place to anyone who wants a clean and quiet place close to everything.

Room Tip: I would suggest rooms away from the ground floor simply because they are near the dining room or mai...

I just can't say enough about this B&B. One of the best I've stayed in for many reasons. The owners are delightful, friendly, professional and they take great pride in keeping the Inn immaculate and comfortable for all guests. The rooms are beautifully decorated (I had the Sable Bay room on the first floor...loved it!). In addition, the location is perfect. The Inn is on a quiet street just off Shore Road so you can walk everywhere. You never need a car to go to the beach, to the village or to Perkins Cove. What more could you ask for! Make sure to check out their website where you see the rooms, rates and ammenities. So go, you will love Charlie and Ross, I promise.

The suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is far enough away from the bustle of Ogunquit to make it peaceful but close enough to walk to everything. The innkeepers, Charlie and Ross, made our visit to Ogunquit pleasant and memorable.

My husband and I were traveling north to Acadia and decided to enjoy a break in Ogunquit. I found this place online and thought we''d give it a try. It's a great place, with a warm host who is happy to give you any info you need. It is clean, well decorated, and in a good location to walk around. I had read some reviews, but missed their site info, that they only offer a complimentary breakfast. I was a little disappointed, but sitting on the porch and Charlie being so accomodating, made it a "will return" vote.

Here last July and returned for a March-April stay. Again, wonderful atmosphere, helpful host, and nice, hot and cold breakfast options. Clean and restful. The town at this time of year is partly shuttered - the public bathrooms were open in the center of town, but not in Perkins Cove. At least one restaurant and one t-shirt shop was open on Perkins Cove, and several restaurants and massage businesses were open downtown on weekdays. A recommended getaway.

Room Tip: There are two suites with sitting rooms off the bedroom.
