Everything about this place gives you a nice feeing of space. The room (King bedroom) I had was huge. The halls, parking lot and public areas are sizable and not cramped.

My room was spotessly clean...no odd smells of any kind and I am usually sensitive to those things. I have stayed at another property owned by the same company and it was also very clean and well-managed.

Location is right across from (3) great restaurant/bars...an Irish place (Annies), a Mexican place (Playa) and an overall amazing restaurant (Bintliffs) so if you want to dine out and have a few drinks you do not have to drive...just walk across the street!

Wireless Internet also works great...is fast and easy!

Where I live...in Albany, NY...there are lots of hotels located in a very boring, suburban part of the area that are not as good as this one and cost a LOT more per night. I live next door to a hotel that costs almost 200 a night and it is not as nearly as nice as this place. That makes this a good value in my mind.

Room Tip: There are rooms close to the main road (where you hear road noise) and those that are not so close...

It has been a couple of years since our last stay at the Juniper Hill Inn and it was like we never left. The hotel has retained the same high standards since our last visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable with excellent and friendly service by staff. The prices for rooms for the off-season haven't increased since our last visit. More of the hotel has been upgraded and modernized. We still love the location as it is within walking distance of downtown Ogunquit. While there is no restaurant on site, they do serve a good continental breakfast buffet and there are plenty of great restaurants open in the area, despite it being early in the season. It's location is great as it is central between Portsmouth & Kittery to the west and Portland & Freeport to the east and is an ideal base for our stay in the area. The hotel was quiet and relaxing and we highly recommend it. We look forward to staying there again on our next visit to the area.

Room Tip: Rooms upstairs and facing the back are a little quieter. The rooms with king sized beds are upstair...

This our second time staying at Juniper in the last month.
It is a great place to get away during the long winter for a nite away from
home. Even though it is out of season and few people were there they treated
you like it was the heart of the summer season and nothing was forgotten.
The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.
Will defiantly be back soon. .

We took a chance that anywhere would be open in March in Maine so we booked just one night at this hotel at a very good rate. I love Ogunquit. We got there a little after 3pm and checked in right away. We'd stayed before and knew that it was a nice place, welcoming, clean and efficient. The room looked like it may have been updated in recent times and the colour-scheme was very relaxing and calming, greens and blues:-) The room had a king-sized bed, fridge, tv, free Wi-Fi, everything we needed for an overnighter. The hotel outside always looked well cared for, the rooms certainly are. Spotless. The bed was very comfortable, the heater didn't make loud noises and the fridge hissed a little during the night (?) but not enough to keep you awake! We didn't avail of the breakfast or the pool, hopefully next time. You can't go wrong with this hotel, it hasn't ever disappointed us and I love that they use Bath & Body Works items, you feel like you're really being spoiled! Plenty of towels available too, even for the pool. Love this hotel, I would recommend it to anyone.

Really enjoyed our one night here. Very friendly staff. Comfortable mattress, had a great night's sleep. We appreciated the double sinks, one separated from the bath area by a door. I was able to wash and make-up while my husband was in the shower. We had a bright clean room on the first floor near the indoor pool, which my husband used and enjoyed.

My husband and I had never stayed in Ogunquit, ME during the winter and probably won't do it again! Just about everything was closed for the season. The people that work at Juniper Hill Inn are always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and neat. The price for the room is great! We only had one problem during this stay. We stayed in a room with a king size bed that needs a new mattress. Neither my husband nor I slept well either night we were there and it was because of the mattress. This stay was for us to relax and get some rest and we ended up coming home more tired than when we left! Juniper Hill Inn is a good place to stay but I think they need to replace the mattresses.

Slightly dated, but the staff was fabulous, the location to downtown was perfect, the continental breakfast was very good with fresh coffee all day, and the room was very roomy and clean. All at a very affordable price. You really cannot ask for more than that when you travel for a long weekend.
