Every year, for the past 25 years, I visit Ogunquit and have stayed at the Juniper Hill Inn. The staff are friendly and inviting. The continental breakfast, the clean, immaculate rooms, the pools and the convenience of walking to the beach and the center are great! HIGHLY recommend this Inn!!

After taking a brief hiatus from staying here, we were quickly reminded why its such a gem. It's just a short walk to town, easy in & out, and quiet. You also can't beat the price in or off-season! Also, if you have AAA , you get a sweet discount!

This is a cute little two story exterior corridor motel located very near downtown Ogunquit. No beach view, but there is a path from the hotel to the beach area.

Our room had been recently renovated, and was very nicely done. Granite counter tops, granite shower surround, sunflower shower head, nice LCD flat screen, and the bed was wonderful. We were there off season, and thus paid a fairly low rate, which made this a great value.

The staff was very friendly, and the place was sparkling clean inside and out. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I like to get away for our anniversary in April. We've returned to this hotel several times and are looking forward to our trip back in a couple of days. The rooms are clean and roomy. Off season, they serve a continental breakfast in the lobby area. Lots of carbs but good. They have a computer in the lobby for guests. The grounds are well kept and pretty and there is a path right down to the beach. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The location is just past downtown and is an easy walk for most people.

Have been going to Juniper Hill Inn for the past 20 yrs and have never written a review until now. We have tried different places but always manage to come back to Juniper Hill. Very clean and comfortable and we request the same room in the main building every time we go there. It's like a second home. They have a very nice breakfast included every morning and the rates are very reasonable. They have two heated outdoor pools as well as a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and fitness center. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Located about 10 miles north of Kittery Outlets and a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, Ogunquit is a quaint little village with many shops and be sure to go to Perkins Cove with many more shops and walk the Marginal Way, a 1 mile path along the Atlantic Ocean. We still get excited every time we plan a trip there. They also have great off-season packages.

There are a number of wonderful looking inns in Ogunquit from which to choose and the decision where to stay was hard, but we finally settled on The Juniper Hill Inn. Lovely and charming are just a few words to describe it. Everyone who works here was always nice and friendly. We had a very nice room in the main building, just down the hall from the reception area. They offer a continental breakfast but we only had some juice in the morning. We didn’t really get to walk around the property as the weather was miserable and wet. They do have an indoor pool and the outdoor pool area looked very inviting. The large lobby offers places to sit and relax and you can borrow books from their lending library. The location is close to everything. The whole place just had a nice feel to it and we enjoyed our stay very much. We highly recommend The Juniper Hill Inn.

We have stayed at the Juniper Hill Inn many times. We have never been disappointed in the least. The hotel is clean, staff beyond helpful, walk to the beach is a bit away, but not unreasonable unless you're elderly or can't walk. Suggest a wheeled "buggy" for beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Trolley is always available anyway, so it's really a non issue. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms in the main building are the best.
I recall one stay, when my husband's mother needed emergency surgery back home in CT. He drove home for the day/night while our son and I stayed. We were at the pool, and Tim was swimming and banged his head on the side of the pool. I am NOT GOOD in emergencies. His head was split. The front desk called 911, they came from York, and took us in the ambulance to have his head stitched. The EMT initially told me to follow the ambulance but my husband had taken the car home. Yikes! EMT said they're (understandably) not allowed to give us transportation back to hotel. Once at the hospital and stitched up, I intended on calling a cab when someone from the ER told me that someone from Juniper Hill Inn was there to pick us up! I was so grateful and appreciative. There was absolutely NO negligence on JHI's part in the accident. He wears glasses, didn't have them on, and miscalculated the edge of the pool. Picking us up was above and beyond the call of duty, and being a "nervous traveler", I will be forever loyal to the JHI.
Hoping to get to Ogunquit this summer! Looking forward to sitting on a rocker in the morning while enjoying my coffee :-)
PS - Loved Juniper Hill Inn BEFORE this incident, but that sealed the deal!
