“a fabulous vacation spot... something for everyone”

We started our vacation here in Ogunquit, me. We were immediately impressed with the setting. An outstanding ocean view, with a deep lawn in front. The rooms were wonderful, large and clean and modern. We had a handicapped room ( 120). It was overly large, on the ground floor , with access to the start of " marginal way". perfect for strolling along either to perkins cove or town. It has benches for sitting and watching the water, and pocket beaches for taking a dip. the larger beach is also walking distance. they provided a nice breakfast, you can eat inside or outside on the terrace.
this place was so lovely, nothing really compared to it.

Room Tip: we booked late, the only rooms available for our time slot was the handicapped room. it was really...

Dear redheadLongIsland_Ny

Thank you for your TAdvisor review of our property. I'm happy to hear your enjoyed your spacious accommodations, our property and the many wonderful attractions here in Ogunquit. Many guests love that they can step out onto Marginal Way for a stroll (or sit) while heading out to breakfast, lunch or maybe a boat ride out of Perkins Cove. We hope you will visit us again - maybe a snow shoe along the Marginal Way this winter? (we're open year round). In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to seeing you again.

This inn was amazing! We stayed here with our one-year old daughter and we all enjoyed it very much. The inn is very family friendly. The pub had amazing food with an incredible wait staff. The hotel had a swing set and a kid's room filled with games and toys that our daughter enjoyed one rainy afternoon. The room was so comfortable and the views were incredible. We enjoyed the inn so much we extended our vacation! We will be returning next year!

Room Tip: If you stay with a young child and are concerned with how sound proof the rooms are, then I would su...

We tried to get a room in Ogunquit on short notice and due to a cancelation...we were able to get a room for 2 nights. It was a perfect weekend. Of course..the weather was perfect. I don't think there is a better place to stay in Ogunquit. We were right on the Marginal Way. Perkins Cove on one side...downtown on the other. We stayed in the South building...it was a little bit older...but...couldn't beat the view. We were on the first floor which was great! Just go out...and you were on the lawn. I didn't expect the continental breakfast..and although it was simple...it suited our needs. The only thing that might have been a disappointment to some (not us) was that there was no pool. We had PERFECT weather! I would highly recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Although there are more expensive rooms...we stayed in the South Building and love the access and vi...

If you've never visited or stayed in this lovely resort, put it on your bucket list. Sun, ocean breezes on your private decks with ocean views, and a staff that caters to your every wish. This is a quiet, family friendly place for young, inbetwwen or older guests alike Beach access at low tide can't be beat for being uncrowded and serene. Located on the Marginal Way it's a lovely walk to Perkins Cove, and a short walk to downtown shopping, restaurants, or just a stroll for ice cream with the kids. Who needs the noisy activity of pools when you have the beauty of the ocean as it was intended?
Mike and Tom are at your service should you need just about any kind of drink and both provide great conversation while you take in a ball game on the flat screen TV in the lounge.
A great light breakfast, lunch or light dinner menu is a welcome when you just want to chill out and not go for a night on the town. Grab a drink and lounge in the many spots provided on a lush lawn surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Life is better than good at this lovely spot.

Room Tip: Check for ocean views and patio

I have enjoyed a week's stay at the Beachmere Inn for the last thirteen years. Upon arrival I make my reservation for the next year. From the welcome at the front desk, to housekeeping, pub and other staff, I have been impressed with the hospitality, professionalism and warmth of the staff. It is a beautiful and comfortable location in close proximity to the marginal way, great restaurants and shopping. The rooms are regularly updated and new amenities are a delightful surprise. I loved receiving the cocktail napkins with my name engraved on them. I am impressed by the care and general management of the Inn.

Room Tip: Be sure to look at the tour of rooms on the website.

This is our 6th year at the Beachmere and we've already reserved our room for next summer. There's a reason. We are frequent travelers and appreciate a property that pays attention to detail. Each year when we walk into the room, it is sparkling clean and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and since you can adjust the shades for top light, we sleep with the windows open, but still maintain privacy. Our favorite thing is to enjoy coffee on the balcony first thing in the morning and drink in the view of the Atlantic Ocean. Breakfast is always very good and we love Congdon doughnut day! We have a teenager who has his own private space to relax and it suits us all very well. The Beachmere makes the 4th of July special with an ice cream social and chairs on the cool grass to enjoy Ogunquit's fireworks. We love this inn and believe that is among the finest in the country. We wouldn't change a single thing.

Beautiful location, Great rooms form victorian to modern. Most with efficiencies. Nice continental breakfast. Wonderful views. Green lawn looking high above the ocean. Listen to the waves crashing on the rocks below. Sooo relaxing. A hidden getaway.
