“Nice central location”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

This was nice hotel that was within walking distance to Ogunquit village and Perkins Cove. The rooms were charming and clean. The landscaping was really nice. The pool was beautiful. The only thing that disappointed us was that we were not told about the complimentary breakfast so went out for breakfast. The next day I noticed a buffet set up in the pub so I went to investigate and found out it was complimentary

I enjoyed a weekend at the Meadowmere in Ogunquit, Maine. The room was nice and clean, overlooking the outdoor pool. The desk staff were all nice and helpful, including a recommendation for Jackie's, a restaurant on the beach that was excellent for lunch. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pools, an outdoor jacuzzi, and a Roman Bath, in indoor jacuzzi, and all were nice to try. The hotel provides a nice breakfast, as part of the stay. There is a pub, with very friendly staff, and a shoutout to Ingrid, who was a great bartender, very friendly to those at the bar, and who could do good harmony to Dennis, who played piano and sang, for the enjoyment of all. Also Serena at the pub, was very nice and helpful with information about the hotel and area. Thank you Ingrid and Serena and Dennis for helping make it a nice weekend. Upon arrival, I was told about Jonathan's, the restaurant next door, that does room service for the hotel. I was lucky enough to be there while Ben Taylor was playing at Jonathan's, and it was a very nice show. Ogunquit was great for walking, including the Marginal Way, a great walk overlooking the ocean. Had a fabulous dinner at Arrow's, and it looked like there were many other good restaurants around. Very nice weekend and I will be back.

As part of a reunion, our group chose Meadowmere based on favorable reviews from friends.
The rooms were clean, bathrooms quite small, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool area was clean and well tended. The staff was helpful and courteous.
We found a gem! Great value, and an amazing variety was offered at the continental breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

We stayed at the Meadowmere several times during our vacation. The first time in the spa wing and the second in the red back building. This spa wing was much nicer.,, a more updated look.
The room was nicely priced for the area and was convenient. Tiny tiny bathroom!

The breakfast was very adequate.

Would stay again if I could choose the location of my room.

We stayed in the East Meadow building located behind the main building. Being tucked away in back, you do not hear any street noise even with the balcony door open. These rooms are pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small and the sink is in the room, which worked fine for us. There is an in room coffee maker and small refrigerator. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, roman spa, outdoor hot tub, sizeable fitness center with steam rooms and sauna, a game room, a movie theater, (two different movies were shown daily during our stay), picnic area with BBQ, computer available in the lobby for guest use, free wifi, and coffee, tea and cocoa in the lobby. Kudos to Meadowmere: with all this to offer, they do not charge a resort fee. Continental breakfast is offered seasonally. It is pretty basic with pastries, breads, some fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, cocoa and juice. The paper plates and plastic spoons seemed a bit odd as did the tip jar, as you help yourself and clear your own table.
The location is good, especially if you like to walk as we do. Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, Ogunquit Playhouse, shopping, dining, are all an easy pleasant walk. No having to find and pay for parking, you can walk everywhere.
The grounds are attractive and well maintained. The staff was efficient, friendly and helpful.
They offer a variety of accommdations to suit your needs and pocketbook.

Room Tip: Though the rooms and bedding may not be as luxurious as some of the other buildings, the East Meadow...

My husband and I have been going to the Meadowmere for years and have always loved it. Now we bring our sons along and we all really enjoy ourselves. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed in a family suite this last trip and it was perfect for us. Separate bedrooms and twin beds for the boys. There is so much to do there. Two pools (indoor and outdoor), outdoor hot tub, indoor roman spa, movie theatre, game room, gym and a pub. You never have to leave and there is plenty to do. The staff is very friendly and so helpful. They make suggestions for dining and entertainment - they are very knowledgable about the area. The resort is within walking distance to the center of town, Perkins Cove (where there is shopping and several places to eat) and the Marginal Way. The beach is a very quick drive away. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Couples will enjoy the suites with hot tubs. The family suites are great for traveling with kids...

My family and I enjoyed ourselves at the Meadowmere! The kids loved the pool, I loved the outside jacuzzi and Roman Spa and my husband liked the indoor movie theater. The location of the resort is perfect! Within walking distance to the center of town as well as Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. The continental breakfast was perfect! The sandwiches at the pub were tasty. I would absolutely recommend this resort to everyone.
