Description: That Place in Ogunquit is modern in look and feel, with a bustling, lively fun bar and lounge. We offer delicious steaks, creative seafood and inventive, yet classic appetizers. The newly renovated restaurant has an urban style dining room complete with a well designed bar area which is conducive to having a cocktail or a full five course meal. The two big screen LCD TVs and 12 beers on tap also make That Place in Ogunquit 's bar perfect to enjoy baseball season, or just great company.

We stopped in here the other night for a drink & an app before heading down into the cove. The bar area was hopping and it was only about 6:30. The bartender was great, personable fast and friendly. I got a mojito and my husband got a beer. We split an order of buffalo wings that were quite good. The bar area is neat, clean and modern. The atmosphere is great, trendy but without attitude. It was a bit loud, but it was a Friday night in the summer and the Red Sox/Yankees were on. We didn't mind it at all, but just advising. I would love to go back another time for dinner which I'm sure we will.

We return to Prime every time we head up to Ogunquit- the bar is spacious and the bartenders extremely entertaining and service oriented, the food is fabulous, and the art hanging on the walls could do justice to any gallery. Highly recommended!

Fresh, inventive ideas -- like the tuna tartare on a bed aof seaweed salad -- were delicous. So were the salt and pepper calamari. For a place called "Prime" (assuming the meat is terrific but only saw it delivered to eager diners) the seafood was great. Management and service staff were attentive and "hands on" making the evening a joy in the middle of a hot summer. Matt Ryan, Global CMO, Havas Worldwide

After driving into Ogunquit from Manhattan at 10pm the Friday of 4th of July weekend, we found most of the restaurants closed. Not only was Prime open, it had a lively crowd of people and the two of us were able to have a full menu at the bar. I expected "bar food" and was beyond surprised at the number of options and the creativity of the menu. So naturally we selected the tuna tartare martini, (really, who serves gorgeous hunks of perfect raw with seaweed salad in martini glass) and a zucchini salad (sheer genius for the slim vertical slices of zucchini tossed with fresh tomatoes and tiny radishes). We had to go for one more appetizer - the salt/pepper calamari - another winner. The food was simply delicious. By that time the owner, Rick, stopped by to chat with us and check in on our late night dining experience, and to pour us some more wine (great selections). While we did have a 6-degrees of separation discussion as we had a friend of a friend of a friend, Rick treated all his guests with the easy-going and cordial service of a pro. Rick is a pro and his chef makes delicious food - much attention to detail here. An amazing evening kicking off a beautiful weekend in Ogunquit. While there are many restaurant options in Ogunquit, pick this one. You cannot lose.

called ahead to make reservations for a 79th birthday dinner for my Mom. I was told they would save a table by the window. We called to say we were running last due to traffic and we were told no problem. When we arrived the table was not clean. We didn't mind and took another table. However, for the cost we were all under whelmed by the food and experience. If we are going to spend that kind of money for a steak I would expect a much better dinning experience!
