This is a cute little town. I loews the boats coming in and out of the cove, cute shops great restaurants. Friendly people went in October , want to go back when warmer out, places shut down in the cold months.

This town is like a picture out of the Saturday Evening Post. It has everything - surf, shopping, hiking, restaurants, B&Bs, gardens, mansions, hotels. It's a wonderful weekend getaway.

Great restaurants. Nice views. Will be back. Loved Barnicle Billys! Things shut down in November so go before it gets too cold!

For the past 5 years we never miss a 3 or 4 day stay in Perkins Cove. The Riverside Motel is a throwback to the days when traveling in the United States meant staying often times in classic motels and motor inns. Riverside Motel is of that ilk but certainly the best of the best. The rooms are immaculate, the staff are helpful and charming, the breakfast is great and includes the famous Condon's Donuts. It is a quick walk across the footbridge to Perkins Cove restaurants and shops and walkable to the Ogunquit Museum of Art. Golf is just a bit farther down the road from the museum, should you have your clubs with you. If you are thinking of a "downeast" vacation, this is just the spot

Fun to take a walk around - not very big town. Several small shops and a couple of restaurants. Nice foot bridge/drawbridge. Fun to watch the fisherman come in to the dock and unload their fish. Definition of quaint!

A quaint little functioning harbor and fishing village. You can sit and watch the boats come in and unload their catch. Walk up over and maybe even get to operate the drawbridge! There are a dozen or so gift shops plus a handful of restaurants. All the shopkeepers are very friendly. You can even take a cruise from there. We found ourselves ending up there a few times during our stay. Can't wait to get back.

Nice views of the ocean, lots of shops and restaurants, very nice. Unfortunately we had very cold weather which made it hard to walk on the beach, It was freezing.

When in Maine we start everyday with a walk or a ride to Perkin's Cove. If it is stormy the ocean may be wild and full of strength, on a quiet day it may be quiet and just lapping at the giant stones. The boats look dreamy in the canal, some are working fishermen and some are for pleasure...In the fall often you can see the reflection of the leaves in the quiet water..This is a place of beauty and peace...Love it and so fortunate to get to spend time here when we visit Maine

This is an interesting little cove. I have been here many times. Each time, I find something I have not seen before. The shops are so cute...and plenty of them. I have bought several items from several stores...each so unique! Great memories here.
I have taken pictures here on the bridge and all around. The colors are gorgeous in October. Lots of New England Fall colors...so beautiful.
If you go to Ogunquit, don't let this place get away from you...it is unique, so pretty and so much fun to browse around....Go, you will have fond memories.
