“Nice place to eat”

Many nice restaurants with views either of the Cove or of the ocean. Simply a good place to have a seafood lunch or dinner.

“EXPENSIVE tourist trap.”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Beautiful place, but not for folks on a budget. Luckily we walked here from our hotel, otherwise parking is a nightmare. Bring your camera, but eat and shop elsewhere.

“Beautiful place year-'round”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

No matter what time of year it is, Perkins Cove is beautiful. The harbor is beautiful, the restaurants are great and there are some cool shops.

Summer can be rough with the crowds. Traffic can become intense. Be prepared for that, but you will enjoy your time.

“beautiful views, not much else”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

just spent the weekend with my wife in ogunquit for the first time ever. perkins cove is beautiful but other than two shops, the entire place was closed or under renovations. we were there on a saturday afternoon and the place was busy and no shops were open. its mostly art galleries and jewelery but still. the sign for the public restrooms lead you to a parking lot that is torn up with heavy machinery in it and yellow caution tape wrapped around an old boat which is in front of two filthy porto-potty's. not exactly user friendly, if you were elderly or had a walking disability you would never be able to get in the porto-potty. we are native new englanders and we realize that the off-season is definitely different for beach communities but this was a little much, there should at least be accessible, clean public facilities if your going to attract people there in the off season and charge $20 for a hot dog roll with a little bit of lobster meat in it.
