“Excellent beach for a long walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

This beach is excellent for a long walk by the water, but it is better at low(er) tide because at high tide, the beach is reduced to a smaller strip in places. Lots of lifeguards along the beach. We walked almost to Wells before turning back to take the shuttle back to our hotel.

“All in One”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

We like coming here due to the fact you basically don't need your car. Lots of small shops, tons of restaurants, Miles of beach, rocks to climb, plenty of things to take photos of. Some unique shops.

“Beautiful Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

For good reason, this big beach has been popular with many generations of travelers. It is flat, level and hard packed during low tide. Food and lodging are available right at the beach. For best parking, park in town and walk down to the beach.
