We were here for a full weekend event! The cabins were good. We had a double room/double bath! I do not know the full price because we were given a discount because there were so many family members staying at the resort. Even with our discount, it was more money than we would typically pay...with that said, the places we stay aren't usually like this! The cabins were nice. But nothing fabulous! And it was clean, BUT we found socks, a hat, and an old wash cloth under the bed! Ewwwwwwww! Cleaners need to open drawers and bend over to clean a bit better. It certainly wasn't dirty, but I like it clean! We ate catered meals for lunch and dinner--yum! We had lobsters, stew..Traditional Maine lobster feast one night, barbecues for lunch, and a steak or fish dinner...Mmmmm All of the food was delicious. We ate at the cafe for breakfast! Decent and fair priced breakfast!! We spent our days using the amenities! Soccer and kickball on their fields--which are spectacular. Bowling with the kids too! Hiking trail was great with tasty blueberry bites along the way. We loved our days at the ocean...but the highlight was our trip to the top of the mountain! Wow!!!!!!! Gorgeous! One of the best views in Maine for sure. The view during the evening was breathtaking! Speechless! We would come back again, but, we are a budgeting family...this would be a place we would have to save up for!
Side note..the workers are super nice and sweet. One young lady was leaving, but stopped us to ask about our stay. We were quite surprised! Oh. One more thing...great location..near Camden, Rockland, Belfast! Belfast was a quick, little trip for us. We enjoyed the little shops.

The receptionist Kristy was great, staying behind for 20 minutes when I called and told them I was coming in later that the desk would be open. The Cabin was great, interior was nice and very fitting for the surroundings. The kitchen area could have used 2 additional chairs for entertaining. Only 2 chairs at the table was a little inconvenient when our family came to visit.

Housekeeping on the other hand, neglected to do servicing for our cabin on Sunday - leaving us without towels or washcloths when we came back to the room late - had to call security to get towels and washcloths brought to the room. The next day housekeeping took the dishtowels and dish rags when servicing the room and neglected to leave any? Had to call to have some brought to the cabin.

Only other comment is it would have been nice if the Fitness center was open on Sunday or the bowling alley was opened during the weekdays - I was looking forward to bowling a few games.

The property has tennis courts, bowlin alley and fitness center. There s no on- site restaurant just a cafe that is self-service for breakfast and lunch. There are basketball courts, golf and nature trails. The cabins look a little rugged from the outside, the screens on the porch were torn but the cab is are cozy. Three leather chairs and a tv, radio and kitchen. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fireplace. Very comfortable and relaxing.

The only problem was no laundry facilities or service that could be a problem for longer stays. It isa nice getaway with enough good restaurants and a grocery store not far to get what you ay need.

Room Tip: The lower cab is are closer to the main road and facilities. I would choose those firt

While the Summit conference center at Pt. Lookout has truly spectacular views, the cabins, for the most part, are nowhere near that. Ours had a view of the cabin next door and the road. The shower had hardly enough pressure to get wet and the bed was hard with hard pillows. There was a kitchenette and a modest cafeteria style cafe, but no dinner. The nearest place is Lincolnville, about 2 miles away. Camden, which is utterly charming has many excellent restaurants, but is a good 15 minutes or more.

Room Tip: Perhaps some cabins have a view, ask.

Our flight to Maine was cancelled due to severe weather and rebooked for the following day. Bacause of that we had to change our 2 night stay to 1 night. Point Lookout would not waive the full 1 night penalty despite the fact that we had no control over the cancellation and the fact that they did not appear to be completely booked. On top of that they had the gall to add a charge for a cot for our 9 YO son. Sure the views were great, but you can that from Mt Battie or practically anywhere throughout Camben/Lincolnville/Belfast.
Resort staff was particularly aloof and unfriendly. Will never return and want to warn others that there are plenty of beautiful places with more caring staff/employees.

We took a quick long weekend getaway & stayed here, the Cabins were cute reminded me of the cabin we have in the North Georgia Mountains. The only problem I had was we were late in arriving (blame north east friday traffic), it took forever for someone to show up to check us in,also called the front desk the next day to make some inquiries & no one answered our call.
We are heading back to Maine this Fall & will stay here because of convenience to our family in the area & because the cabins were clean comfortable & charming.
