We had dinner two nights in a row! Excellent food! Very nice atmosphere, very recommended for those who look for extraordinary cuisine in that neighborhood. Chateaux to the chef!

My wife and I ate here when it was "The Mainsheet" years ago. We were very disappointed and we hadn't been back since then. We met a woman in Boothbay Harbor who raved about how it had been taken over by a new chef and how good it was. After looking at some reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were very glad to have eaten here. The herb fries were very tasty. My wife's chicken pie was amazing. It had a lot of chicken, vegetables, and the puff pastry was perfect. My lobster special was delicious and the lobster was very tender. Our deserts were also very good. The service was attentive and prompt. We'll be back again.

A group of us wandered into the area looking for a restaurant in the middle of the afternoon. We are so glad we found this place. The food was a delight! The dishes were unique and flavorful. Great use of spices and oils (such as white truffle oil). We tried the cauliflower and beet appetizers - delicious! Salads and sandwiches were also very good. The "herb fries" we're also a hit - and an example of how they put an extra "twist" into what would be standard fare. It was a nice surprise after traveling for so long (and many places offer essentially the same fare). It is worth checking out the menu online.

This is one of the few places to dine now in Northeast Harbor, but the food and service will please everyone. Located in a corner of the Kimball Terrace Inn, a strikingly charmless, barracks-like motel near the harbor, this fine restaurant should rank among the best on Mount Desert Island.

The menu ranges from fresh seafood to locally sourced meats and vegetables, as well as comfort food and many naturally gluten-free options. Pricing is very reasonable for food and wine. Service is prompt and pleasant.

Overall, the food here was very good. In addition to a variety of salads, our party ordered lobster macaroni and cheese, lobster ravioli, and a pizza. The lobster dishes were predictably rich, but one plus of this restaurant is that many of the items -- including salads -- can be ordered in either smaller or larger portions.

Prices for the food were quite reasonable, and although you can pay big bucks for a bottle of wine if you so desire, you can also find some very good choices around $25/bottle.. Service was mostly capable and attentive; however, our request for additional bread was acknowledged and then forgotten. And although we requested that separate bills be provided for two couples, an item that should have appeared on one bill appeared on the other instead. Despite these minor glitches, we would go back to the Watermark again if we were in the area.
