Thanks for staying with us, Cheryl! Hope to see you next summer!
We wanted to revisit Booth bay (the first time in 15 years) but didn't want to stay in town and fight the crowds. Newagen was the solution. It's a lovely old inn with stunning views, surrounded by some of the prettiest private homes we saw during our week traveling the coast. Dinner was excellent, the service was fine, the innkeepers were friendly, and the price was right. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and, of course, Boothbay are a stone's throw away, but you'd never guess it sitting in an Adirondack Chair at the Newagen gazing out to sea and enjoying the breezes.
Thank you so much! We’re very happy to be your little oasis amidst the touristy chaos!
Sunsets, rocky shores, heated pool, and flowers galore make for a lovely peaceful retreat from the hectic city life. Delicious food served in the Inn or by the pool only made our visit more perfect — especially the blueberry cake after the Lobster Bake!
Thanks for visiting our little slice of heaven!
All good. Cheryl? and the young crew from Albania/Kosovo were terrific at breakfast. Enjoyed Tian at the gazebo & bar. Room a little tight but comfortable. Rest of staff universally helpful and nice. Location & grounds outstanding. Ended up eating most dinners at Newagan because of high quality and reasonable prices, including the neat lobster bake.

Thanks for your feedback! We agree that our international students really add a lot to the Newagen experience. Hope to see you back again!
Newagen Seaside Inn is in an idyllic location in mid-coast Maine. The accommodations are comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and immaculate, with a host of activities at your fingertips. Or you can be perfectly happy picking out an Adirondack chair, and breathing in the sea air, or reading.
From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff was most friendly and helpful!
The food was delicious, and breakfast is included in your room rate.
We went as a couple, but there were plenty of families there who chose a multi-room cabin for their stay.
Boothbay Harbor, with it's shops, restaurants, and coastal boat rides is a quick 15 minutes away.
We will definitely go back again.
So glad you discovered us! Hope to see you again soon!
This place is a hidden gem located in the Southport area.
The inn is neatly kept and has many amenities like bars, a pool, a game room, bike rentals (free) and an outdoor game area. There’s also dock access.
Check out the sunset path, located on the property. Sweeping views of the Atlantic.
The restaurant is great, but very pricey.
The rooms are of average quality, but certainly kept up well.
Overall, the staff is amazing, accommodating and very friendly.
Thanks for visiting, Ryan! It was an honor to host your family and we hope you'll be back.
