Poor selection of beer, waitress didn't know what was what when served. The food was cold- cold nachos? Was that Snow's clam chowder in Maine? We waited over an hour for pub grub. Sorry we went good $$ for the above too.

I’m a local so we visit this restaurant regularly. They recently changed their menu and added some great new options. Thank you ! I ordered one of them; Trout with browned butter and capers served with crispy green beans and roasted little red potatoes. Yummy.

A summer time favorite they also added to their regular menu is the 2 Lobster Rolls with fries and coleslaw. Talk about Big and Delicious! It used to be $15 and was a steal but at $19 it’s still worth it, considering the size and the amount of meat you get. Plus they don’t load it down with lettuce and mayo. This really is a great place for a good, causal meal.

I would have given them a 5 star rating, because the food is good and the staff is always really nice, however their service is sporadic. It’s hit or miss… If they improved that, they definitely deserve 5 stars.

We found the food to be delicious. The halibut w/ cheese was great. (The only thing I didn't like was the artichokes on the California salad-- they were acidic & past their time.)
Our food took over 45 minutes to arrive at our table, but the staff was upset for us on our behalf and removed the appetizers and drinks from the bill. It seemed to be an anomaly so we weren't worried and would definitely recommend.

We visit the area several times a year and always make a point of having dinner at Bray's. The fish & chips is the best I've ever had, and my husband always enjoys the burgers. The lobster stew is delicious as well. We love this place because it is open year-round and although tourists come here, it also is always filled with locals, which you know means it is good. The home-brewed beers are always tasty as well. Sometimes the service (mainly the time it takes to get food) is a little slow, but it's worth it as long as you're not in a huge rush. In the summertime, there is patio seating outside in the back of the restaurant. They also often have live music, which is hit or miss as far as the talent is concerned but always entertaining!
