Ebeneezer's has won awards for its beer experiences. About 25 beers on tap, and about 600 (yes, 600) different bottled beers. The menu is basic good food -- beef tips, fish and chips. a variety of burgers, duck, chicken. The beers tilt towards Belgian, and are a bit pricey, but worth the experience if you want to vary from the basic American beers which Ebeneezer's serves, too.
The management annually holds a Belgian beer week in August. On the 4th of July the restaurant puts on a spectacular firewoods display. The restaurant interior is medium size, but it also has a large outdoor screened and canopied serving area. And a bar, with sports TV. People attending are locals, lake people, folks from Boston and Manchester, and we have seen license plates from Canada, New York and Connecticut. Pretty darn good for a little restaurant in the small town of Lovell, ME. It is very much worth a visit if you are in the Portland, Conway or Bethel areas. My wife and I drop in several times a summer.
