We spent 2 nights at this gorgeous Inn, June 12-13, 2013. Everything we read about this place is true. I'm so glad we booked here. We had such a relaxing experience. The grounds and the Inn are beautiful. The staff made you feel so welcome and the breakfast they served was outstanding!
This is truly the perfect place to stay. We will be back. Thank you for giving us a memorable stay.

well worth the few miles drive into Camden for all inn at Ocean's Edge offers. The drive and plantings add such a wonderful welcome. The property is special and wonderful to wander, walk, read anywhere. Each evening they light the outdoor fireplace by the spa building.....truly delightful. The hot tub, sauna, infinity pool (need to get it warmer than 75 'tho). So many places to hang out as alternates to the very nice large rooms.

Morning cook-to-order breakfast is just wonderful....eating either out or inside. And, cookies and tea/coffee every afternoon.

I try to avoid elevator and here there's a grand spiral staircase between the three levels.
Everybody is so friendly and willing to go the extra step to make your stay memorable.

Besides the pool chilly temp, my only other tiny issue......the mattress . While it was comfortable okay, my husband doesn't sleep well so he's up-n-down a lot during the night....and, with this mattress I felt his every twist and turn.....

This was our first visit to The Inn at Oceans Edge but certainly not our last. The property was beautifully maintained and the rooms plush and comfortable. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. If serenity and tranquility is what you're looking for you'll certainly find it here!

My wife and I spent 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Room in the Inn building was tasteful, spacious, and comfortable. Outdoor pool wasn't quite warm enough but gorgeous (black stone infinity edges) overlooking Penobscot Bay and hot tub was nice, too. An exercise room would be nice (hint). Breakfast delicious; service was adequate a bit disorganized. Innkeepers were delightful and helpful. Plenty of dining choices 5 minutes away in Lincolnville Beach and Camden. And good value for money!

Room Tip: Room in the inn building means breakfast is nearby; bay-side is a plus!

We (myself and my elderly parents) stayed at the Inn at Ocean's Edge for an extended weekend in mid September. The place is very clean, charming and inviting. The owners and staff are so nice. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of and the ocean view is gorgeous. Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The only reason I didn't give this place a 5 is that the pebble beach was very difficult to walk on. So, even though we enjoyed the view, we couldn't walk on the beach. I also wished the window in our ocean view room was larger.

We have stayed at the Inn at Ocean's Edge at the end of the summer every year for the past 4 years and plan to be there again this year. The location is superb and there are a million day trips to take from the Lincolnville area such as sailing in Rockport, the Boothbay Botanical Gardens, the Farnsworth art museum, hiking, great dining options in every direction, and late afternnon swims in the stunning infinity edge pool. The breakfast is outstanding, the rooms are lovely and very comfortable and the late night outdoor fireplace with a bottle of wine is a special way to end the day. Every year we ask ourselves, :lets try something different" but then we look around and we always go back to the Inn. We just love it!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great and pretty consistent. The pool house suites are gorgeous but we are ususall...

My wife and I spent our 15 year anniversary at this Inn. I'm a native Mainer, but have spent very little time in this area. We selected the Inn at Ocean's Edge based on the pictures we saw on TA and what I perceived to be a good value. It exceeded my expectations, even though we were in the building at the top of the hill. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed wine on the balcony and gazing onto the ocean. Truly theraputic. The strengths of this Inn are;
1) Oceanside location - Beatiful property and very quiet
2) Fine breakfast
3) Beatiful grounds and pool area

The only downside is maybe the proximity to Camden. Parking in Camden is a chore during peak seasons. Camden isn't walkable from the resort.

The Inn at Ocean's Edge is a great place for couples, but not sure small kids would find much enjoyment in it. I don't believe you can go wrong staying here. If you are interested in a glimpse of Maine's beauty at a place that is probably in the top 10% of resorts in Maine (in my humblest opinion), then this Inn is a great choice.

Room Tip: Hilltop rooms are away from the main building and pool, but on a warm summer day, I felt the hilltop...
