Comfortable, clean, and great hosts! Love the breakfast on the porch! Great suite accommodation for traveling with friends or family. Round off your trip with a visit to Young's Lobster Pound and nearby Camden. There is kayaking across the street too.

The proprietors at the Mt. Battie Motel have obviously put a great deal of thought and care into preparing for their guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the array of home-baked goods in the included breakfast are quite impressive. They show a lively interests in their guests and are a valuable source of information about local attractions and businesses.

We randomly chose the Mt. Battie Motel based on AAA recommendations. We were so pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and hospitality shown by Christine. She made some excellent eating and sightseeing recommendations -also baked amazing breakfast treats. The room was very comfortable and we felt like pampered guests. Kind of hate to leave after only one night-

Everything was sparkling, friendly, delicious, comfortable. Easy ride into Camden. Felt more like a B&B than a motel. They called me promptly to say we had left an electrical cord behind and offered to mail it on to us for a minimal cost.
thanks for everything

Second stop on our quick Maine visit. Christine and Ed were very nice and extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and activities to pursue. Wonderful, home made breakfasts, clean rooms, great tasting coffee, comfortable beds, free WiFi and free long distance telephone service! Room had a sitting area with 2 chairs/table/light making a fantastic reading spot. Nice seating with chairs on front porch and seating on small deck out back looking into the woods. Rte. 1 is not the quietest but the motel is located on a hill which really softens traffic sounds and also gives you a great view of the water. Lincolnville is very near towns where we were interested in visiting but not necessarily staying. Would definitely recommend.
