“Good food, short on help”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

Had a delicious chicken burrito, a daily special, which had fresh ingredients and was perfectly grilled. But a big turnoff was that the tables were not cleaned after diners left, there were crumbs under the tables which had attracted ants by the hundreds. It wasn't very busy when we were there, but the employees weren't attentive to cleaning. I would go back for the food, but only to take out and eat elsewhere. The scones and muffins were great.

“Tasty, good selection, odd service”

Good selection, great home made bread, good coffee, tasty gluten free ricotta chocolate muffins.
Pricey. Counter help was cold and dismissive.

“Unexpected find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

Stopped in and was greeted kindly. The staff went out of their way to satisfy my needs when i stopped in. I think so highly of this place I reccomend the Coffee for any who are getting the run of the mill coffee along with their continental breakfast.Don't drive by without stopping if in need of a good coffeee or muffin.

“Not what we expected”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

Had high hopes for a great experience and delicious food when we stopped at Dots one morning around 9am, but were truly disappointed. It wasn't busy so you would expect the owners/help to be friendly...they were not. The coffee was good, but the muffins only average, nothing special. Our biggest disappointment came with the "deli" sandwiches which were ordered to go. Did I mention they weren't friendly? As for the sandwiches, the bread seemed stale and tasteless, the turkey breast turned out to be dark meat (ugh) and they forgot to add the cheese and mayo which we ordered and paid for! Perhaps it was just a bad day, but our experience wasn't good and we won't be back.

“Great food, but not too friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at an Inn that offered breakfast vouchers at Dots. The first day we went into Dots, looking around. The owner did not say "good morning" or "welcome." Rather, in a very snippy tone told us that it was self- serve. When I tried to explain that we were staying at the Inn nearby, before I could get the full sentence out, she quipped that the vouchers were worth $6.00. My husband even tried engaging her in conversation asking about the photos on the register, but despite there not being anyone else online, she was curt. Unfortunately, the breads, muffins and breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Another couple at the Inn had a similar experience there. I do have to say that she had a young man working there who was simply wonderful and very accommodating!!! Kudos and thanks to him. Another gentleman was also very friendly and welcoming. Great bakery; even the gluten-free muffins were excellent. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.
