We stayed at the Whitetail Inn for a weekend in September while attending a wedding in the area. Glenn was so accommodating and friendly, we immediately felt at home at Whitetail! The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. Our room was small, which was perfectly fine since we were out and about a lot; however, when we were at the Inn during the day, the sitting area in the main house was cozy, bright and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better time. We'll stay again!

We were stranded when our car broke down 600 miles from home. The Whitetail Inn accommodated us without price gouging. The room was lovely, clean, and the service was good. It even included breakfast. We also drove through the town. The area is picturesque and I would love to visit it again.

If you're bound for this area consider going there. The main office is a wonderful old house. We had free wifi. The experience was positive.

Being stranded is never fun. We've been there ourselves. Sometimes all you need is a warm shower, a nice bed, some free wifi and breakfast. We're so glad you were able to make the most of your stay. Best of luck on your journey home!

My husband and I just returned from having stayed at the Whitetail Inn and we were very pleased with the accomodations. We selected a King size bedroom, which was clean, comfortable and blissfully quiet!

Nice thick towels, minifridge which also has a small freezer area, microwave, large flat screen TV as well as air conditioning. There is additionally a coffee maker inside the room for convenience. The bed was soooo comfortable, with four plump pillows. Our room was tastefully decorated and housekeeping comes in during the late morning to clean.

Chairs are outside of the rooms in the event a guest just wishes to have a cup of coffee or beverage while enjoying the fresh air.

This one minor detail may help - your room door automatically locks. Don't do what I did by pressing in the button on the inside of the room or you won't be able to get in! Nice security feature although the area is extremely safe. I was in the room to let my husband in because his key would not work, so we didn't have to trouble the owner, Glenn Bettencourt who was a wonderful host and makes it very clear that exceptional customer service is top priority.

Continental breakfast is offered daily in the main house.

Since my husband grew up in the area, we knew where to go to eat, but for those of you who are unfamiliar with the town, there is a nice family restaurant called Gilmores which is five minutes away - take a right out of the parking lot and it will be on the left.

There is also a Hanafords grocery store, Walmart and Subway shop within five minutes of the Whitetail Inn. (McDonalds is currently closed for renomvations).

The middle of the town (take a left out of the parking lot) has some nice shopping stores and there is a Chinese Restaurant in the same area as well.

The owner Glenn also has a book in each room where guests may leave their comments or suggestions. Nice touch.

We had a lovely stay at the Whitetail Inn and when we return, I would love to get our next room in the main area of the house. From what we saw during check-in, it looked absolutely beautiful.

Thanks Glenn for a great stay and to Renee, who has quite an eye for decorating!

Room Tip: We had room number six, last on the right side of the main house because it was delightfully quiet.

We had our construction crew stay at the Whitetail while working in Lincoln for over a month. The guys never hesitate to let me know when things are less than adequate and I've heard no negative comments at all! What I do hear is nice rooms, convenient location, rooms equipped so they don't have to eat out at every meal; which is huge as they work long hours when staying out of town. Friendly folks, clean, comfortable rooms, reasonably priced. Would recommend it to anyone working in or traveling through the area.

An extremely clean and spacious room. Glenn was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Glenn went above and beyond to ensure we were able to dry out our gear after getting caught in a rainstorm on the way into Lincoln. I would definitely stay there again!

On a 7 night motorcycle trip the Whitetail was by far the cleanest and most friendly place we stayed at. Comfortable throughout with very spacious rooms.

We encountered I crazy rain storm minutes away from Lincoln and when Glenn seen us turn around (as we drove by) he was able to rescue us. He did the extras to help us dry out while we dripped all over the entrance area.
