Friendly local establishment with great specials every time we have been there. Food is consistently good but this is not a fancy or gourmet restaurant. We stop on our way to Naples and get in and out quickly with no hassels and a decent meal. Never did the buffet but from the looks of the locals, it is very popular if you are hungry.

We ordered a reuben sandwich and the seafood pasta with salad. The reuben sandwich was ok but small. The seafood pasta was good but a very small portion. The worst was the salad; a mix of ice berg and dark greens. The dark greens in the salad were extremely wilted and soggy. Since this was served first, it kind of set the mood for the whole dinner. At this point we wanted to just leave. In all fairness, the food was just ok with the seafood pasta being the better of the two. Just don't eat the salad......order the soup.

This is one of only a small handful of choices in this area. The portions are ok. The service was pretty good. The salad bar is a 4 foot area with very limited choices. Somewhat pricey and not much choice for children that are beyond eating from kids menus.(I'm assuming they have a kids menu)

We usually like the Peppermill, but this buffet is not worth the $14.99 a head. Three soups: fish chowder, vegetable beef and onion (all three flavorless). Salad Bar: lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, pickled beets, black olives, croutons and two selections of dressing; baked haddock (okay), BBQ ribs (okay), baked stuffed chicken (must have come from Sam's Club), roast beef (over spiced; only rare -- VERY rare), roast pork (okay), macaroni and cheese, rice pilaf, mashed potatoes and canned gravy (two types), carrots, canned green beans. Dessert was a dry blueberry thing, bread pudding (I got a chunk of pure cinnamon in the first bite), mini eclairs, cream puffs, cheesecakes, brownies and upside down cake. Nothing to write home about. We had to hunt down our waitress to retrieve the check. After she saw we were getting the buffet she must have decided her work was done. VERY disappointing. Mediocre everything.
