Most of the stores are just regular stores, no outlet, and you find the same deals that you can find at the regular stores.
The best store to get great specials and deals is the Swarowski Cristal store, for a collector or in search of a gift, this is the perfect store.
If you are on vacation and it rains, go for a couple hours to the outlets... but if it's sunny, please stay on the beach !

This is OK to occupy a rainy day...but not a must do. Ok to visit if living close to it, but would definitely not make a very long drive to get there. I haven't seen any outstanding "deals" and the area is somewhat boring.

Long drive for big disappointment. No deals, well maybe a couple of items at Jockey but that's it. Found they were all regular stores and not outlet prices. Ended up going to Portland for great deals, lots of shopping in Portland.

This outlet center is always full of deals. You should be a bit pro-active if you want to take advantage of it though. Sign up to the premium outlets to print up coupons, as well as get a coupon for a special coupon book. It's worth the effort. Some stores let you combine coupons with the store deals and promotions. It's not uncommon to be able to get more than 50% off of your purchase by doing this. I always come away with tons of great stuff for a bargain. Take you time though....you need a few hours at least.

On the down side...there are a few different "centers", and they are on opposite sides of a small "highway". It is a bit of a pain to walk between the centers. I'd recommend driving to the different centers...doing a few stores at a time. There aren't many place to eat at either.

The outlets in Kittery provide one stop shopping for the entire family. Parking can be challenging at times; however, with lots and stores on both sides of the street one may park in one lot and safely cross the street via the crosswalks at the traffic lights.
