I stayed here 4 nights as it was the only place with availability in the sugarloaf area - still 20min away. This place is an old house run by friendly staff, but quite dated. Radiator in the rooms for heating is difficult to control between cold and way too hot and the water heating is the same, though functional. The common area has a nice happy hour with $2 Sam Adams every day, though the communal fridge is tiny and breakfast is not included (extra $8.95pp).
I slept on a pullout sofa bed that was far from comfortable nor even, and smelled quite unpleasant. For $100+ per night, this is really not worth it but you won't find many other options nearby to sugarloaf. The roads up here are always well plowed so no need to worry about an SUV.More
