What an enjoyable Labor day weekend my wife and I got to experience in Maine. Maine Stay Inn and Cottages was centrally located to all and the accomodations were top notch. The food was great, the owners were very friendly, helpful and have a gem of a property. We are so glad we stumbled upon their Bed and Breakfast and would recommend staying here to anyone who is travelling to the Kennebunkport area.

My trip to Kennebunk was with a friend. We loved the accomodations of the Maine Stay Inn, actually staying in one of their immaculate cottages.
It is a husband and wife team that own this B&B, with the help of their lovely daughter. They work very hard at making this a destination to come back to- great decor, good food, clean and comfy rooms.
The breakfasts that are served, while delicious, are not what I expected. Rather than a choice, you are served a visually stunning plate of various foods. Yet unless you've known enough to tell the hosts what foods you can not abide by- you may be surprised.
All this is positive, so why the 3 stars? An uncomfortable feeling we had by the sometime sharpness of the wife. My partner and I looked at one another more than once as this occurred for one reason or another- eyebrows raised. Sorry, but this is the reason we would choose another B&B when we return to Kennebunk.

Room Tip: Cottages were a great place to stay.

Recently stayed at this beautiful inn for a two night getaway! We stayed in the main house and the room was cozy, comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was deliciously prepared by Judi and consisted of french toast with a berry compote, sausages and eggs. Everything is a short walk or drive away. What truly makes this inn great is the innkeepers Walter and Judi. They are very welcoming and friendly. We also met some very nice guests staying for Christmas prelude and hope to see them there again next year. Great hospitality and we will be back!

Room Tip: There are also several romantic cottages on the property with a Jacuzzi and fireplace in some.

Stayed here during the Spring with my girlfriends during a weekend getaway. Service was great and everyone here were very friendly and helpful. It's easily a walk away from many of the cute little shops and restaurants in town and a short drive up to the oceanfront. great for a romantic getaway in my opinion too. Breakfast was delicious. And you get complimentary tea and cookies when you first arrive. The cottages were spacious and cozy 2 beds, a clean bathroom, a kitchen with a little dining table, televison and refrigerator.

This was our first trip as a couple to this charming, beautifully appointed B and B. We stayed in Room 16 and it's everything we could have hoped for, and more. The suite was beautiful, immaculately clean with exquisite furnishings, a sumptous bed and a gas fireplace right in the bedroom. The innkeepers were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. They tend to every detail, and it shows. Breakfast was superb , fresh fruit cup, sausage, eggs, homemade bread and whipped butter with an apple "crisp". It's a 7 minute walk to the village. We will be returning again and again.........if you love B and B's, this is a must try. Judy and Walter have got it right!

Room Tip: Have only stayed in main house, but Captain Walker Suite is a definate must try!
