my boyfriend and i stopped here for lunch when we arrived in kennebunkport and had 2 hours til we could check in to the b&b. it wasn't too busy. we were seated right away and approached about drinks just a couple moments later. decent local beer selection.

we decided on clam chowder and lobster roll for me and clam chowder and lobster club for him. the clam chowder is fantastic. very creamy and lots of clams. :) my lobster roll hit the spot. not a big fan of bacon otherwise i may have opted for the lobster club. nonetheless - both filling meals.

we really liked it here... wish dearly that this had an open deck or outdoor seating. otherwise - a fantastic choice. i recommend it and will definitely go here again.

Arrived to Kennebunkport after 9:00 p.m. on 05/19/10. Was concerned nothing would be open that late. Not so as Alisson's was still going strong. One side is the restaurant while the other side is the bar; although there are tables just outside of the bar area as well. My sister and brother-in-law had some of the best clam chowder ever. I ordered fried clams. They were fresh clams with bellies served with with a side of french fries. DELICIOUS!!!!!! The place had a homey/comfortable feel and was obviously a favorite place for local residents. We ended up stopping in the next evening to listen to some really good live music.

The temperature of a beer can make a big difference in how it tastes and they serve theirs ice cold. Loved it, and their food!

This a great place for lunch, We have been by it many times and decided to try it. The server was very friendly even when our five year old granddaughter was talking to her non stop. The food is good pub type fare well prepared. The Red Sox Sampler is a fun light lunch.

March 28th was beautiful day in Kennebunkport, ME. The wind was a bit chilly but that is perfect weather for a bowl of clam chowder. My husband and I decided to get something to go before heading back to MA. Alisson's seemed very busy and that is always a good sign. We ordered to go - 2 bowls of clam chowder, 2 lobsters rolls, 1 fried clamstrips and a order onion rings. This cost about $70+. We were overjoyed by the soup (yes, you can get clam chowder wrong...very wrong). It was chock full of clams and it was hot and thick. The lobster roll $17.95 was ok. On a buttered white hot dog roll with some green stuff-not "mounds" of lobster but fresh. Fried clam stips were wonderful and worth it. Skip the onion rings, unless eating in. Overall everything tastes great-but the service YIKES! I have only been here once but to say the hostess was unfriendly was an understatement. Thankfully the soup was hot and warm because the service was not!
