No elevators, no restaurant, no one but desk clerk on duty, breakfast free but only so-so. Melanie and Sandy were wonderful and helpful . They helped with heavy luggage and were super professional. Rooms clean, great location. All in all, would not return there even for free.

The property is obviously an older one - mid century modern - but our room was large / comfortable / clean. Pool & jacuzzi looked great but it was too darned cold to enjoy them. Check in was seamless & friendly - wifi worked - nice peaceful location. Interior corridors were warm & smelled of chlorine but undoubtedly due to the indoor pool area. Happy with our stay - a good choice & value in beautiful / pricey Kennebunkport.

We were here for two nights. Had a nice clean, large room with a king bed,and small deck. Very nice area, the staff was great, and it was a good time. Location was great and suggested restaurants were very good.

We recently spent five nights at Rhumb Line because all the hotels had jacked up their prices for Labor Day. Our "upgraded room" which we paid extra for was probably upgraded ten years ago. It was clean and housekeeping came every day but sometimes not until late afternoon. The carpeting was stained both in our room and in the hall. Our room overlooked the pool and was very loud. I believe memberships were sold to townies and they arrived and took up nearly all the chaises and the children were very noisy. I didn't expect someplace that bills itself a "resort" would have all this noise. The Admirals Table food was barely edible and it was very slow The best part of the resort was its location, located among mature trees and not far from Dock square.

I would recommend the Rhumbline to any couple, family, or group heading to southern Maine. It is a relaxing place with great staff, clean rooms, and an affordable price. Within a short drive or a great walk to town via the ocean. The rooms are great sized and very comfortable. The Admirals Table is available for food or drink and good and reasonable. We have been there three times in the past 15 months and I KNOW we will return there again.

Room Tip: rooms in the lower numbers have more afternoon sun
