This is a beautiful, old church with fantastic ocean and Kennebunk river views. The stained glass windows are so pretty and unique (one even has shells embedded) and the grounds are lovely. We took the trolley to the Colony Hotel and walked here on our way down Ocean Ave to see Walkers Point since it was a beautiful day. There is ample parking to visit if you are driving.

Beautiful little Church beside the ocean. Well worth a visit - not too long a stroll from Dock Square.

Beautiful in every way. The stone interior ,stained glass, landscape, ocean view and outdoor chapel. The Bush family made this their place of worship when there were in town. This is a must see in Kennebunkport .

Beautiful church. The grounds were lively and well kept. The church was amazing in simplicity and beautiful old wood and stained glass. The outside worship section had awesome views!

We were delighted with all we saw here! This small and beautiful seaside Episcopalian chapel (built 1887) was one of 18 historic summer chapels in Maine, found mostly along its coastline. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it had limited onsite parking. The chapel was open during our visit. A historical pamphlet was available. Inside the sacristy had colorful, sea-worn stones. The chapel had a polished granite altar, a limestone baptismal font, oaken pews, and hand-stitched needlepoint kneelers. The chapel had 31 glorious stained glass windows. A squat stone bell tower held an old working bell. The chapel grounds were immaculate, with well-kept lawns and gardens. At the shore was a small outdoor chapel whose several rows of benches had spectacular views all the way to Cape Ann. We loved everything about this chapel by the sea.
