1-9-2014. Attempted to take my mother, who uses a wheelchair, to Squaretoes today at lunch time. I had been there once before and the food was good and I noticed they had ramp. I must note that the ramp makes a sharp turn and looks rather steep. I am sure it was constructed correctly under ADA rules. Well, the ramp is there and what I could see it was cleared of snow. BUT, the snow was not cleared from the ground to enter the ramp. Even worse there was a section of cement, a moveable curb, at the top of that parking space. There was a vehicle parked in that space. Before noticing the curb I thought I would go in, ask the staff to locate the vehicle's owner and ask them politely to move the vehicle. All told it was impossible to get my mother into the restaurant. When I went inside and spoke to two employees, a young man offered to come out and help me. Upon seeing the curb he too realized the situation. Being from out of town I have only eaten there once. The food was very good and the staff friendly, prompt and attentive.
