we actually had the little cabin in the photo above. We org. were setup for a double bed in the motel when the staff saw two moms and three kids and said take the cabin. Perfect little place for an overnight trip with the kids. Close enough to the beaches and we got a free parking pass to the beach with our stay. Can't ask for a group of nicer folk to run the place. Great all the way around. The pool was kept up quite nicely. Quiet area. Even have a small playground for young children with riding toys and volleyball net with balls. The cottage was decent size so that three children and two adults weren't completely under foot. Two bedroom one with queen bed and one with two double beds. picnic table and small grill for your use if you choose. Fridge, sink, table and living room area. This was no doubt a gem and the price is right.

Room tip: Cottage is way to go even for a couples. The motel looked a bit close and crowded but still seemed very quiet and clean

My brother, sister and I travelled to Maine without our spouses and needed separate beds. Fortunate for us, we discovered this wonderful cottage! Not only fairly priced, but so quaint. Close to town, but quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Our cottage had 2 bedrooms and 3 beds, a living room and kitchen with everything we needed. Wine glasses and coffee maker - what else could we ask for? Even a screened in porch. Freshly painted, very clean, and super comfortable beds and pillows. The owners are very accommodating and happy to help. We found a wonderful restaurant, Squaretoe's, for breakfast right down the street, too. We will definitely be back and already recommended to our friends travelling to Kennebunk.

On our several previous vacations to Maine we had stayed in the Wells area except for one trip to Bar Harbor. We booked this stay through Booking Buddy app. We would definitely recommend this place. The cabin we had was small but fine for just the 2 of us. It also had a nice deck. The sliding glass doors also had a screen so you could turn off the ac on cool nights and have the screen pulled across to let in fresh air and not the mosquitos. My wife used the pool everyday and enjoyed it. It was just a short drive to the area beaches. You can get a beach pass at the office for $20 and get the money back when you turn the pass back in when you check out. The house keeping service was very good.Overall the only thing I might change next time would be to check if any of the cabins had a queen size bed. Ours was a full . Comfortable enough but small when you are used to a bigger bed.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights on our anniversary weekend quick get away. It was nice quiet very fairly priced and clean! We will most certainly be going back and bringing out kids ! There was everything we needed in our small cottage. It was close enough to everything that we didn't feel it was not close the owner was friendly. Can't wait to go back

My husband and I have been visiting these cottages since 2005. We were blessed with 9 children and noone would rent to us once we disclosed this. But not this place. They not only let us rent but year and and year out welcomed us back! The pool and cottages are always clean. ! The locations is excellent ! Now my older children have kids of there own and our vacation to Maine includes kids and grandchildren and we wouldn't stay anywhere else but the Kennebunk Gallery Motel and Cottages.!

Room tip: some cottages are more up to date, ask if it matters and owners will be sure you get one.
