As a class we stayed at Morada do Sol for 1 week in total. We couldn't have hoped for anything better!! Seriously.

The two houses provide more than enough space to give home to the 30 people of our class, the pool is big and cool to swim in, there is a playground to play football or volleyball on which pleased us big time and the kind cleaner who came nearly every day cleaned any of our messes, which had gotten a bit out of hand from time to time. She has always been incredibly kind and she made our stay at Morada do Sol an extremely pleasant one.

The location of the estate suited us perfectly. By foot you could walk to the beach within 40-50 minutes. There are two possible paths, of which both are awesome and adventurous. By car you could reach it in 5 minutes. The beach is really nice and we had great days just relaxing in the sun.
From the house you could easily order a taxi with which you could reach Cascais center in max. 10 minutes time. From there you could either enjoy the beauty of Cascais or you could catch a train to Lisbon every 30 Minutes. The connections were amazing and we could be in Lisbon itself within an hour at most.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Morada do Sol very much and we would recommend it to virtually everyone who wants a cozy temporary home in a calm beautiful little village with the opportunity to reach bigger cities like Cascais, Lisbon or Sintra easily within a short amount of time.

We made a school trip to Portugal as a class of 27 people and spent a great time in Morada do Sol. The estate was really beautiful, the landscape was just breathtaking and it was an awesome experience overall. It was really pleasant that Cascais and Lisboa weren't really far away and could easily be reached by taxi and urban train. Thanks especially to the person who came to clean up the mess we made and to the owners of Morada do Sol for the great accomodation. I'd recommend this to any large group because it is just fantastic.

Room tip: Don't take the room with the sliding doors if you are a light sleeper, since it can be used as a second entrance in the upper house.

We had a fantastic stay at this house as we were there as a schoolclass with 27 people. At first sight, we were a bit worried as we were 50 km away from Lissabon. Altough we didnt have a car, we could get very easily to Lissabon, Cascais or Sintra by public transportation or taxi. The service by Sol Domus was great as they came every morning to clean the house or were organising the transfers from the aeroport. We really enjoyed our stay in the estate of Morada Do Sol and would love to come back one day...

Very nice house. We had a wonderful stay at casa Morada do Sol. Every morning someone came to clean the mess we had made the night before and all the people from the house we had contact with were very very nice. The house is to be recommended to everyone, I would love to go back some day.

Great villa, great location! We rented the whole villa to have our wedding there and guests to stay for the whole week. We were 28 people and 8 children and we managed to fit in comfortably and had lovely time there. The gardens were a great setting for our special day. The staff were really helpful from arrival to leaving. Really close to Cascais and near Lisbon. Walking distance to nice restaurants and shops in the village. A really nice villa for large groups of people. Would highly recommend.
