“The nicest place on earth”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

I went to maine as a last minute trip idea to scratch some things off my bucket list. Seeing a moose, dog sledding, and snowmobiling. I was able to do all three. I was also able to stay at the Greenville Inn. I was so relaxing, magical, and historic. Also the breakfast their was second to none. One night my car got stuck in the snow and the innkeepers came and picked me up. They also dug out my car. I went alone but i never felt alone. I cannot wait to return

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful B&B. It is a historic landmark and is impeccably maintained. The common areas and the rooms are comfortable and there are outdoor tables for a picnic meal. The hosts are lovely people, engaging, interesting and fun to talk to. They know the area well and made excellent recommendations for activities. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent 3 nights in Cabin #5, and it was great - very roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with a good variety each morning. The inn is within walking distance to everything in Greenville. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly!

Our family of five stayed in the Carriage House Suite. It was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Jeff was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed sitting on the verandah-- the view is lovely!

As volunteers for a regional adventure race we appreciated our sumptuous three night stay with 3 different and comfortably elegant room arrangements: cottage for 2, 3 room suite for 2, single with upscale bath. Our hosts treated our tired bodies kindly with the most comfortable beds and pillows! and offering fabulous breakfasts which included homemade croissants, scones, local sausage, the best scrambled eggs ever and even early fresh coffee. The decor and history are outstanding and worthy of a trip just for them! Two of us from Colorado hope to return soon and coax family to join us. This experience needs repeating!

Room Tip: Cottages are detached from the main historic building and each has a front porch from which to enjoy...

My husband, son, and I recently stayed at the Greenville Inn in late June 2014. We occupied the Shaw Suite. Jeff and Terry were wonderful hosts! The rooms were clean and decorated very nice. The food was awesome! The breakfasts were excellent, and the dinners were delicious! The staff at the Inn were courteous and efficient. Staying at the Greenville Inn really made our time at Moosehead Lake a memorable one. You could tell that Jeff and Terry really put their hearts into managing this beautiful property. I would definitely return to stay here. Karen- from Maryland

Room Tip: The Shaw Suite was a 2 bedroom suite with 2 floors. Each floor had its own bedroom, TV, bathroom, a...

I really enjoyed staying at the Greenville Inn. It was very clean and well decorated. The breakfast was great and the location was right out of the center of town. We stayed in a cottage and it was very cozy and comfortable. All common areas of the inn were pretty and very clean. The hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. I would stay here again if I head back up to Moosehead Lake!
