This was on the top of my list of things to do while I was in Greenville. The boat is big and beautiful and you really get a nostalgic feeling cruising the lake in this old beauty. There was more than enough seeting for everyone, which was nice, and we never felt cramped. The captian did a great job pointing out historical points on the shore and also the importance the Katahdin, and boats like her, had on the lake.
We really got to see every bit of the boat, as they offered small groups tours of the engine room below and my nephews even got to sit up in the wheel house with the captain!
I would also point out that they do offer food and non alcholic beverages on the boat, but your are able to bring your own food for lunch if you wish. Also, since at the time they did not have a liquor license you were allowed to bring your own beer if you wished.
All in all a great tour and would recommend to anyone that is spending time around Moosehead lake!
