This was our first visit to the park. It was a cool day so most of the animals were up and about. They appeared to be taken care of nicely, with clean enclosures and not too many animals jammed into an area. Great representation of local Maine wildlife and nice educational and minimally-commercial atmosphere in which to observe the wildlife

It is a small Park, but is great size for little feet to walk. The animals are taken care of, and the enclosures are clean and good size. Everyone is very friendly.

We were looking for something in the area to do during our weekend away to Auburn, Maine and thought this might be a good activity to enjoy the outdoors. The cost for adults is $7/p person. The Park was not crowded; it took us about an hour and one half to visit all the exhibits. It was a great discovery, I'm glad we came across the attraction here on TripAdvisor. Worth the admission, funds go towards a good cause.

They do a very good job for these poor animals that would not survive in the wild due to injurys and being held for a long period of time. They do not have a large amount of Animals but it is worth the time and money to spend some time here. Animals are very well taken care of as well as the people gave the animals huge areas to roam and really tried to give them the biggest habbitat to live in to have a sence of what they lost in thier natural home...a very good place.

I am more than a little sad to see all those beautiful animals in cages, but since I understand that most of them were either abandoned or injured and can't return to the wild, I guess it's better than the alternative.

Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, as it is quite a trek if you do the entire park. My daughter and her friend enjoyed the gift shop and said that the prices were very reasonable.

Make sure you have a good camera and can turn off the auto focus feature, as it will want to focus on the fence in front of you, not the animal behind it :)
