“Rocky Shore, Sandy Beach & Lake”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Reid State Park is at the end of a pretty country road. The park is beautiful. You have rocks to climb on for great vistas. A long sandy beach for a nice walk, and a scenic lake picnic area.

“Off season delight”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Beautiful day on the beach today. Whether you are walk-the- beach or sit-and-see kind of beach person, Reid State Park offers a delight to the senses. Both rocky shore and sandy beach are there. Open waves and sheltered coves with seabirds of all sorts to see and hear. No parking fee off season.

“WOW...must see!”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Reid State Park is at the long end of a beautiful windy road on the peninsula of Georgetown Maine. It's long, about 11 miles, but sooo worth it!! It is a state park, replete w/ the garrulous park ranger taking your money. You will see the most amazing views out on the point. Go in the day for the swiming at the beach (but be careful of undertow). We went at Sunset, and it was amazing! there is bluffs, cliffs, rocks, and a tidal estuary the is long and beautiful....

“Great Park”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Great park with beaches and a swimming cove that would be great for kids. Plenty of picnic tables in different areas and a nice bathroom/bath house.

“Get Out Early to Save a Good Spot”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

There were several different choices of beaches to enjoy, and we ended up with a nice spot near the end. It is very family oriented, so bring a picnic and enjoy the day.
