“Great Food & Great Atmosphere”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Great Food & Great Atmosphere.

We have been to the Swan Inn on four occasions now. Each time the food has been great and staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming and we totally recommend the Swan if you want a cozy meal for two or want to dine with larger groups of friends and family.

Last night we had mussels in reduced sauce that was just one of the best we have ever had anywhere.

Looking forward to our next visit!

“Excellent Sunday lunch”
Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

11 family members went for Sunday lunch in January and it was truly lovely. Very welcoming and ambient. Good selection of food and they were very accommodating if you wanted something slightly different. Highly recommend and would defiantly like to go back for a meal in the evening. Great job guys

“Thanks”

We had heard very good reports from friends, so decided to try for ourselves. The food was excellent, all home cooked, and served by very friendly staff. All for £10 for 2 courses, Monday - Friday Lunch Time - Diamond Menu. Good choices also. We will be back. Could have been faster service, but this did not matter to us.

“Nice pub”

Lovely pub shame about the locals! Horse poo everywhere in the village! And a very ugly White House at the end of the village that looks like a cheap Spanish villa!

“Boxing day family lunch”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

We have eaten here at different times of the week and always been pleased with the service and food. We booked for our family to eat here on boxing day in November and pre-ordered our meals in advance with special requests. When the main course meal came it was not what was pre ordered . We were offered something else in its place but all of our party had there meals and it would mean them getting cold . In the end she chose to have Christmas dinner without the meat as this could be served in the next 5 minutes . We all enjoyed our meals but the Christmas pudding had spent to long in the microwave. It would not put us off but we were a little disappointed.
