We grabbed a mooring boat and took the dinghy to shore. The island is a wonderful place to walk thru. Really enchanting. The staff at the deli were very friendly and welcoming. About 30 people live here full time. After we ordered our pizza we sat outside and enjoyed the incredible beauty of the area. While we waited for our pizza we met Mr and Mrs Lunt. It was a wonderful experience as they told us about the island and their experiences in lobstering. It was a great stop on our trip thru Maine. And the pizza was very good!

We stopped here for our first lobster rolls on our way into Bar Harbor. I found they were mediocre and came with no chips, pickle or other side that most other places include. The restaurant did have a huge selection of locally made products like jewelry, balsam bags and other knick knacks so I would stop in to shop but not to eat.

I'm sorry your experience wasn't good, however, you did not stop at our establishment as we are not yet open for the season. Please correct your review as you were at Lunt's Lobster Pound in Trenton, not Lunt's Deli on the off shore island of Frenchboro.

Thank you.

Was there on one of the lunchtime cruises. (available in summer). A 15inch cheese for $10. Very worth it. (The whole cruise was great)

This is one of my favorite places to eat a lobster on the whole Maine coast. BYOB and enjoy the harbor view. Go for a hike first to work up an appetite and don't miss the blueberry pie.

Lobster, coleslaw and corn on the cob for $15! Fantastic meal on the patio while watching the sun go down and the lobster boats return home. Fresh pies made daily... we ordered slices for the next day.. they'd sold out by the time we got there for dinner. Blueberry pies were great!
