We loved the lively, fun atmosphere. Our waiter was excellent, friendly, helpful. He helped make our experience very enjoyable. The food was delicious. The lobster was done perfectly. We will definitely eat here again.

A few weeks ago I was entertaining a family of friends from California who were visiting the area for the first time. I wanted to give them a taste of Maine that they would enjoy and make them want to return some day. I choose this tavern, which is a part of the beautiful Harraseeket Inn, because of the comfortable warm atmosphere and the use of Maine foods on the menu. The staff could have not been more helpful. One of the members of our party was confined to a wheel chair, and they were very accommodating. They hurriedly put two tables together in front of a roaring fire, and we all set down to a wonderful experience. Our server was Sheila, and she could not have been more friendly and helpful! Our drinks, including perfect martinis, were promptly served to the tired travelers I was hosting, and the selections on the menu were varied and used fresh Maine products. We all wolfed down the warm freshly baked bread, and we all loved our meals, served by Sheila perfectly! Although full, we shared a couple of huge desserts and finally left the restaurant happy and completely content. It was truly a Maine experience! Everyone is anxious to return someday, and I, a Maine resident, especially!

Ate too much, but I guiess that's what you're supposed to do on vacation. Food was great, the atmosphere just what you would want for a relaxed meal after a long day of walking. Priced OK but the desserts are the best. Save room for some blueberry pie...best i ever had.

Ate here whilst staying at the Harraseeket Hotel. Very busy place but the service was very good and the food was excellent with a good choice of menu.

We have eaten lunch here each spring and fall for the last several years. Always choose lobster roll and sweet potato fries (the buffet is tempting, but we just cannot eat enough to justify the cost). We always have marveled over the generous amount of lobster in the sandwich, but this year thought it was a bit skimpy. That struck us as odd, given the glut of lobster and its low price. Fortunately, the lobster salad was as tasty as ever; ditto for the fries. We arrived just before noon, which was lucky for us because as usual the restaurant filled. We were at a table close enough to enjoy the roaring fire.
