We showed up for the Sunday brunch at 11:45 but didn't have a reservation so we were directed to the Tavern. The food was good, but $18 - $30 for lunch entrees in Freeport, Maine is a little steep (sandwiches & burgers were cheaper).

The service was mediocre. Our waitress was far from attentive. We expected much better service to justify the high prices.

We did a walk through of the brunch buffet on our way out. It looked pretty interesting (lobster, prime rib) but they should call it a "lunch buffet" - we saw very breakfast dishes.

After a day of shopping, it was great to wind down in this comfortable restaurant! Great menu choices, large portions and friendly staff. We liked how Broad Arrow used ingredients from area farms and local small businesses. While my husband had a great meal, mine was "ok". The mac and cheese with chicken was very tasteless and dry. I could barely eat half. My husband had the buffalo burger which was delicious. Although my meal was not great, I would not hesitate to visit again.

Excellent food served in a lovely setting in Freeport. Great for a nice lunch or a dinner to linger over.

Like a big, warm hug from your gregarious Mainer uncle. Farm to table fresh food, sourced locally, created with care and quality. Shotgun shell covered christmas lights adorn the restaurant along with other Maine kitsch. All within the grand and glorious Haraseeket Inn. You'll love it.
