“A Freeport Must”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2014

Freeport is filled with overpriced, mediocre eateries that cater to tourists. Not the case with Li's Chinese Express. This Bow Street food cart offers generous portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. The menu is simple offering lo mein, fried rice and egg rolls.

Service is fast and you can watch your food cook in the wok while you wait. A must stop in Freeport!

“Strong local following...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2013

Li's food is fresh and top notch. A family food cart operation with friendly service. All the local merchants seek her out for their lunch as often as they can. Anyone who has eaten her food once will become a word of mouth promoter of Li's Chinese Express.

“Fresh Chinese Food While You Wait”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2013

After walking by Li's stand and smelling the food, we made a trip back to Freeport a few days later. The menu is very simple and has about 10 items. She cooks the food in a huge wok as you watch and everything is made fresh. I can imagine that the line can get long in tourist season since she can only cook one order at a time in the wok - but it's definitely worth the wait. We ordered the pork fried rice which had large chunks of pork unlike regular take-out Chinese restaurants. Also got chicken lo mein which she added some spice to on request. The crab rangoons and chicken fingers were hot from the fryer. The Rangoon filling was oozing out of the crisp shell. They were creamy and had a hint of garlic - very good! There is a picnic table to eat at. If you're in Freeport, you have to stop at Li's!

“Li's Express Chinese is a must when you're in Freeport”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

Heard about Li's on YouTube, and am so glad we found it! Li really runs the show with a wok and a frier. Every order cooked to order! We watched her work that wok like there's no tomorrow, over and over. Grab a seat at the picnic table she has set up next to her stand, and enjoy!

Li's Express Chinese is a must when you're in Freeport.
