In my humble opinion, this is one of the best breweries anywhere. I love literally everything they make, so being able to visit the site of creation and being able to try brewery-only beers ("Pilots") is a neat experience.
Other folks have posted photos and you can see the design of the taproom is much like the beer label design: simple, minimalist, "sterile" could also come to mind. It's quite small, but what better way to get to know other beer enthusiasts than to share one of their picnic-like tables. It is apparently baby-friendly and wheelchair accessible. Little Lad's popcorn available if need be, so as to not have to drink on an empty stomach.
My only qualm, after being in twice, is that the people that work there don't seem too excited too be there. They're not rude by any means and are quick to fill your glass and to clean up a vacated table, but in my two visits there has been no enthusiasm whatsoever. Maybe that's a jerk thing to nitpick, maybe I caught them on a couple of bad days (wasn't overly busy at the times), but it would be nice to have someone there that's a little excited about their beer or willing to talk about it. "What's this Pilot like?" points to chalkboard for description..."okayyyy...thanks!" Thankfully their world-class beer speaks for itself and I do feel fortunate to have this brewery essentially in the back yard.
