On our way back we had to make the obligatory stop in Freeport, knowing that the town has such great shopping. We found out this time around that there was a serious alternative to the large hotel we stayed at in the past. It is the Brewster House.
Scott was our thoroughly charming host, and he made us very comfortable with check-in. Our room, Room 4, was very much as advertised- very clean, well-furnished, with a spacious bath with a fine shower, away from the street, and with a comfortable bed. The location of the inn was ideal as we could walk into Freeport to virtually every one of the factory outlets in the center of town, as well as to restaurants.
The following morning we enjoyed Scott’s brioche French toast.
We learned our lesson about Freeport this past visit-we now have a place to stay that is far more appealing and friendly than the big hotels there.More
