There are several lodging options at this hotel. We stayed in the Lodge which has some pet-friendly units. First floor units have a patio and you can walk right out to the dock. Downside is that you have to walk much farther to unload your car. The second floor units have balconies and the rear door leads right out the the parking area. They now have wifi in the Lodge units. The larger units have a separate living room and bedroom, a kitchenette and dining area. There is a continental breakfast included but you have to walk or drive up the hill to the registration building, not fun in bad weather. Our unit was very clean. They towels are some of the best I have ever encountered in a hotel. The location is very convenient, just off Rte. 1, with quick access to Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta.

This resort is right where the sun sets over the River. It's lovely. Only downside are the traffic lights/noise on nearby bridge. We have been here several times and always enjoy the area. You need a car for everything except crossing the bridge to Wiscasset for restaurants, galleries, historic architecture and shopping. Not the best place for small children; the pool is super tiny and not much else geared to kids. Excellent for adults. We stayed in the main building and in a cabin. Cabin is much more pleasant and has a great view.

My wife and I stayed for four nights. Our room was large, very comfortable and well-equipped. Gayle and Amy at the front desk were helpful with both the room and other arrangements. We’ll be back and stay there again.
