Love the lobster stew ( a special), haddock sandwich, lobster roll and fresh fish! Prices went up this last year - turned some customers off. Otherwise still one of my favorite places. Was great - now very good.

The Griffin family owns and runs this restaurant. Fresh seafood is caught and brought in daily, so whether you get a lobster roll (with melted butter -- the best!), or fish chowder, or seafood to take home and cook, you know it's fresh and good. Right now (summer 2012, closing October 6) their seating is at picnic tables outside, some under a roof, others open to the sun and the breezes. The views of Passamaquoddy Bay and Campobello Island are spectacular, and you might see a whale or seals while you're eating. They're working on having indoor seating available for next summer; stay tuned.

This place was fan-tab-u-lous! The seafood is literally right off of the boat and the picnic tables were the perfect place to enjoy the view and the food. It's off the beaten path from town, but worth the trip! There are no bathrooms, though, so make sure you take care of that before you go. Also, no beer or liquor, as it really is the shop attached to a working dock. You will not find a fresher batch of food!

We were in Eastport during the Salmon Festival, but had lunch at the Quoddy Bay Lobster restaurant, and loved it. I had the 2 lb lobster--it was sweet and delicious, and enjoying the meal overlooking the harbor on a sunny day is why people come to Maine, as we do, year after year!

I live in New England and I've never had fresher or tastier lobster, steamed clams and lobster stew!
