Four of us were traveling south from Pemaquid point (A lighthouse that you should not miss!) and found this wonderful restaurant for lunch. It reminded us of restaurants in Europe with it's wonderfully subdued and beautiful interior, cheerful and creative local art work, Excellent food, and great friendly service. This chef-owner knows how to handle vegetables to make them delicious. Delightful choices for lunch included a superb haddock chowder, a variety of quiches, finnan haddie, Sandwiches and salads, good selection of beers and wines. Fresh ingredients and vegan as well as gluten free options for both lunch and dinner. (This was a wonderful escape from the frenzied atmosphere of the touristy cafes in the area) It's one of those rare places when you sit down, absorb everything and feel like you've come home and know that you will be cared for!
