A huge family group had a wonderful dinner at Dennett's. The clam chowder was superb - the best we had during our week long trip through Maine. Lobster rolls, steamed lobsters, steamed mussels, beer, wine and more beer and wine! It was a feast and the service matched the great food! We ate outside on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view of the wharf. After dinner we walked along the street above the Maine Maritime ship dock - overlooking the water. Down the road there is a beautiful little chapel with a lovely lawn and bench - a great spot to take in the beauty. Dennett's will be closing soon for the winter - but be sure to stop here for a great meal when you visit in spring, summer or early fall.
