This is a lovely old museum with a collection ranging from neolithic stone tools to native American bead work and 19th century woodworking tools, many of the things are unlike anything you will see anywhere else, like the African nose picker, all collected by members of the Wilson family. This year's special exhibits are on breadmaking tools and historic cookbooks. It is a must see if you are in the area and worth the drive to Castine on a fine weather day.
