“Amazing food and ice cream through the years!”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

I was a camper at Camp Arcadia (up the road from Pear's) starting in 1995 and have gone to Pear's for many summers between then and now. The ice cream is incredible, and has only gotten better (more flavors!) over time. My most recent trip was a few weeks ago (July 2014) and was not disappointed. One day I got moose tracks ice cream and a roast beef panini (which is much lighter on the horseradish than the description implies, which was great! One of the employees also said this, and he was right.). Two days later I got a turkey panini and, once again, moose tracks. The line can be long and if there's a family with indecisive kids it can take a while, but it's 100% worth it.

“A Cool Destination”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

Out for a ride around the Lakes Region of Maine this summer, you won't go wrong by taking a turn up RT121 into Casco village and stopping at Pear's Ice Cream. Nice selection of Hoagies, Panini sandwiches, basket lunches with fries or onion rings washed down with a tasty Root Beer Float, Frappe or Milk Shake. Or just stop and get a great ice cream cone, sundae or split to cool off on a hot summer's day. So get off the main drag and take a ride down a country road to a really cool destination, your taste buds will thank you.

“Camp Cedars Loacl”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

I was a camp counselor at Camp Cedar for two years and its easy to say Pears milkshakes are freaking awesome, we had to do a fair bit in order to earn them, though they were always worth it.

“Favorite summer spot”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

We go to Pear's every summer when we are staying on Pleasant Lake. They have yummy ice cream and a pretty good variety of sandwiches for a roadside stand. On some summer nights the lines can be long because many people love this place.
