We visited The Good Table just before Christmas. The restaurant had a holiday atmosphere and was very cozy, even though the temperature was in the single digits outside. The place gets crowded, so if you can make a reservation, you should. In the cooler months, try to get a table in the main-house part of the restaurant, not the closed-in porch part off the back of the restaurant, which doesn't appear to be as cozy as the front part. I'm told the closed-in porch is nice in the summer, but I've never been seated there.
The food is excellent, albeit pricey, and the wait staff are friendly. The proprietor is usually on the scene, adding her personal attention when she can.
