“Worth a quick peak”

Cape Elizabeth Light
Reviewed August 28, 2018 via mobile

This is such a pretty light house but unfortunately you really can’t visit it. It’s a private home at the end of a drive that is marked “no lighthouse access.” I’m sure the owner and neighbors are tired of tourists driving down the street to see the lighthouse from the street but I guess that comes with owning a lighthouse!

The Cape Elizabeth Light is one of two associated with Two Lights State Park. It is a pretty facility but not one you can climb. You can get great pictures of it from the Lobster Shack restaurant near the parking lot of the Light.

This lighthouse is not a tourist stopping place. There is no parking... at all. The lighthouse is not accessible for viewing.

This was a great cliff walk right on the water, with the lighthouse as out endpoint. Beautiful from every angle!!

We stopped by here on our search for local lighthouses. It was a nice area with pretty ocean views. The lighthouse itself is nothing special. There is a gift shop and a lobster shack with picnic tables right on the water. We didn't eat there but it was definitely a relaxing stop. Though not a lot of parking.
