“Very pleasant”

We stayed here one night when our original inn overbooked and the booking mistake ended up good for us. We were in the back part, very peaceful with a private entrance. The owners and staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast, baked fruit, French toast, sausage, real maple syrup was beautifully presented and delicious. Easy walk to town.

Highly recommended!! We stayed for a weekend, two nights, and enjoyed two of the most delicious and well prepared breakfasts ever - everything was so fresh, with herbs right from the garden! The entire inn was very beautiful and elegant, both inside and out, kept true to Victorian decor and style. Our room was in the back, very quiet and private. It was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. All of the staff were great and the innkeepers, Jim and Cindi, were warm and welcoming. They all went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating. Camden is a great place to stay and if you're into hiking, the hike up Mt. Battie is a great take and gorgeous views. The inn is within walking distance of the harbor and all the stores and restaurants, and the mountain too - we never used the car. A great trip and an awesome place to stay!

Room Tip: The back is definitely more quiet and private.

First let me preface my remarks by saying I am not an Inn or B&B kind of person. I prefer the quiet and comforts of a hotel. But when on the Coast of Maine, you are forced toward the Inns. I did not have breakfast so I will not comment on that. My room was very nice with an airconditioner, very clean, and quite comfortable. Everything worked as it should. The common rooms of the house where breakfast was served and where you could sit, were worn, and I must say a bit smelly. No one ever opened a window to air them out even though the weather was perfect in the 60's and 70's. I would say to the owners, let in some air!! Overall, my room was good, the rate of $200 a night was acceptable but I probably would look for a better place were I to go back.

Room Tip: Remember that rooms on Route 1 can be noisy.

We stayed for two nights, midweek, and wish we had been able to stay longer! We had the Garden Gate room on the ground level. It had its own entrance and little patio area and was right next to guest parking. I would recommend staying in the rear rooms, which was where we were, as the main road in front is fairly busy. We could not hear any noise from our room and slept in both mornings, as the bed was so comfortable, and dressed with high quality linens. We had a king bed, large bath with jetted tub and shower stall, fireplace, sitting area, flat screen TV, mini fridge and coffee maker. You can easily walk to shops and restaurants, which is nice since parking in Camden can be tight. The owners and all staff were excellent and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and can be enjoyed in their dining rooms or outside on a lovely terrace. They also have an honor bar for beer and wine, with local choices, for a reasonable price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly encourage others to visit this inn, and Camden, for a relaxing touch of coastal elegance! Thank you to all at the Inns at Blackberry Commons for making our short stay such a memorable one. We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Inns at Blackberry Common. The rooms were very comfortable, very clean and beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. Jim and Cyndi are very accommodating and gave us wonderful suggestions for places to see, restaurants not to miss, and gorgeous drives in and around Camden, making our trip even more memorable. You will feel like royalty being served The Inns' delicious, gourmet breakfasts. The second morning we opted for breakfast in the garden. Our server offered to take a photo of us at our garden bistro table as proof that we really did experience that awesome moment. We are planning to return to The Inns when we are in Maine.

We stayed here with our 27 year old son and his girlfriend. Both rooms were very comfortable. Large, private baths, robes in the room. The breakfasts were soooo good, top notch presentation and taste. Will definitely go back.

Wonderful B&B and lovely owners who go out of the way to help guests have a great time in town and the surrounding area. Delicious meals and clean rooms, with awesome AC. Jim and Cyndi made us feel right at home and were very accommodating to our young son, who enjoyed roaming around the beautiful gardens in the early morning. Would return here in an instant.
