We celebrated a wedding anniversary in June in this wonderful B&B. Anita handled special arrangements without a hitch and was very accommodating. She made the anniversary celebration quite special. You feel like a guest in her B&B rather than a customer. The house is quite charming, the room was spacious and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was innovative using fresh local ingredients and delicious. There is also a convenient gift shop carrying selected local Maine products including some wonderful children's books. We highly recommend this B&B.

I enjoyed a very nice stay at the Belmont Inn. It was immaculate and the innkeeper, Anita, is attentive, knowledge, interesting and committed to ensuring a pleasurable visit.
The inn is well situated with easy walking access to lovely Camden village.

Spent 2 nights at the Belmont Inn, but wish I could have stayed much longer!

We had reservations at another property but cancelled them after speaking with Anita (the owner and Inn Keeper) on the phone. Within the first couple of minutes speaking with her, I knew I HAD to stay at the Belmont. Anita is incredibly helpful and friendly, and I really enjoyed all of my conversations with her. I felt as if I'd known her for years (which some of the other guests have since they were return visitors), and experienced our stay as if we were visiting and staying at a close friends home. She personally introduced the guests to one another (a total of 7), and we enjoyed meeting and speaking to each.

The property is fantastic...very comfortable, quite and clean. The location can't be beat as it is within walking distance of the "downtown" and harbor.

Anita knows how to prepare a great breakfast, and uses locally grown or produced ingredients whenever possible.

While planning on using this as just a place to sleep, our stay and experience turned out to be one of the highlights of our week long visit to Maine. Hope to get back to The Belmont again one day.

Room Tip: I can't imagine there being a "bad" room

This is the place to be. My husband surprised me for my birthday and it was such a treat. From the moment we arrived, Anita (Innkeeper) made us feel welcome. She did not suffocate us with attention, rather she informed us of a few 'must see' places, gave us a brief tour and allowed us our privacy. Breakfast was perfect and always fresh items from Maine growers which was really nice. You never would have known there were other guests until breakfast time. Spacious room, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Within walking distance to everything. We didn't get in our car all weekend. We'll be back!

Room Tip: The Jo Spiller room is tucked away in the back of the house - if available - we would recommend! Ve...

The Belmont Inn is lovely. The owner Anita really went out of her way to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, comfortable and informed about the area in terms of restaurants and sightseeing. It felt like we were a very welcome guest in someone's home. The common areas are comfortable and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and reading at night. The Inn is very conveniently located, in walking distance of the town center and restaurants. Breakfasts were delicious, different each day and enjoyable - definitely part of the experience. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The Country Charm room is lovely and we enjoyed the heating stove.

This review is long overdue but came to mind as I once again plan our summer vacation. Last June we had a delightful stay with Anita at the Belmont Inn. The inn is located on a quiet side street a short walk from town. We stayed in a lovely upstairs room that was especially cozy during a very rainy weekend - the pleasant sound of the rain on the roof and Anita's delicious homemade cookies went a long way towards saving the day!

The house is beautifully appointed and Anita an excellent host. She is very knowledgeable and so helpful with many excellent suggestions - including a delicious lobster dinner at a restaurant we would have never found without her help. Not to mention the sunny breakfast room, great breakfasts and the availability of "made in Maine" items in the little gift boutique.

We stayed at the Inn over President's Day weekend and had a wonderful visit. The Hideaway room was exactly what we were looking for; quite and private. Anita was extremely helpful with planning our days and ensured we had reservations for dinner prior to our arrival. There was always water ready for tea or cocoa and a bottle of wine ready for the evening. We will return again next year. Thank you, Anita!
